With 15 years of work experience excavating large residential developments, Dale founded Harris Builders, LLC in 2012. His word is as good as his reputation, and Dale is known for staying on the job until it is completed to the owner’s satisfaction.
A committed family man, Dale and his wife Lori are parents to six children and proud grandparents to two granddaughters. Friends describe Dale as always having a positive attitude. On the rare occasion he isn’t working, Dale can be found helping a friend with a project, or spending time with his family and dog Diamond on Lobdell Lake in his hometown of Linden, Michigan.
Dale has a wide range of work experience, which includes multi-million dollar house renovations, extensive remodeling projects and new construction. Local northern Michigan commercial projects include work for Bay Area Pet Hospital, Bay Allergy, Harrington’s By the Bay, McGee’s 72 and McGee’s 31.
A Traverse City area resident since 1989, Mark is an entrepreneur, problem solver and innovator. After graduating from the University of Michigan and serving in the United States Air Force, he spent more than two decades in manufacturing, directing domestic and international sales for Delta Industrial Valves, before ultimately becoming co-owner of the company. Following 22 years of successfully guiding the company's growth, Mark and his business partner sold Delta Industrial, and he transitioned into the construction industry.
By drawing on his bacground in operations, team leadership and strategic planning, Mark has built a strong track record as a project manager and construction supervisor. He has overseen both commercial build-outs and new construction residential homes. He is adept at permitting, coordinating schedules, managing subcontractors, and client commuication, ensuring projects stay on time and on budget. His hands on approach and ability to solve complex challenges, makes him a trusted leader from project planning through completion.
When he isn't guiding a project toward the finish line, Mark can be found on his boat, cycling the Leelanau Peninsula, traveling or enjoying quality time with friends and family.
